One of my all-time favorite travel experiences is climbing the Sigiriya Lion Rock, known for being one of the eight wonders of the world, which is a remarkable honour as a fellow Sri Lankan due to its rich history. The Yala Safari comes right after offering one-of-a-kind encounters with the wild. It’s an experience so profound that I’d gladly embark on it again and again if given the chance.
Then there’s the heartwarming tranquility of a stroll around Gregory Lake, located in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. Boating and rowing on the lake adds a touch of magic to this serene landscape. The breathtaking sunset, the sheer beauty of the moment would take your breath away.
