Legal Requirements
We require certain legal documentation for the marriage ceremony which you need to send to us at least one month before your wedding date. The following documents will be needed:
English translation of Marriage Certificate
A copy of the birth certificate (original will be needed one day before the wedding)
Copy of a valid passport (original will be needed one day before the wedding)
Name, address and occupation details of the couple to be wedded.
Name, address and occupation details of parents’ of the couple.
An affidavit signed by a Solicitor (with company stamp) to confirm the marital status of bride and groom before the wedding.
If bride or groom (or both) is divorced, we need a Decree Absolute to prove that the previous marriage was lawfully terminated before the upcoming wedding ceremony.
If either/both party is widowed, we need a Death Certificate of former spouse from the previous marriage.
If bride/groom (or both) had a name change previously, please provide legal proof.
